About the album Circus

The all New Circus Album was having sales figures like 520.000 in the first couple days and weeks only in the USA when released to the Puplic and fan community. CIRCUS debuted on the Billboard 200 at number 1* , making it Britneys Spears's fifth number-1* Album. This incident made Britney Spears the only act in Nielsen SoundScan history to have four albums debut with 600,000 or more copies sold. Thats pretty amazing !

2008 was confirmed that Britney Spears was "in the experimental and progressive stages of a new mega album. Britneys manager said that Britney Spears would be spending her whole summer in the studio, working like a mad workaholic on a brand new mega music album with a supporting team of top producers and songwriters, and we're very excited about what they had accomplished so far ! In 8/25 august 2008 interview with a pop magazine, Britney Spears said that the album is "More Urban. I'm working with producers who are just amazing there is this fresh new creativ power .

"I'm writing every Day, right here at the Piano in my Living room .. This is my Best Work Ever." Sharon S., a dancer in her choreography team dancing to the video"Mannequin", told The Daily Mirror , "When we were finished rehearsing, they'd take the CD and put it in a secret and safe place . I have never seen anything like this before , it looked like the new Britney Spears album was treaded like Gold ." A Very Famous Pop Magazine Rolling Stone stated that Britney Spears "has recorded about over 35 tracks for her 6* studio album." Britney Spears proceeded, "I came into the Studio because I had some creativ inspiration and as I started working, It was like, 'EVERYTHING WAS FALLING INTO PLACE This was very cool!

Boy Group Take That released a new album called * The Circus * and asked "Take That" Manager Nigel Martin Smith about the similarity with Britney Spears Album *Circus* he statet that the album's title choise was a pure coincidence and the band had worked very hard

" many months in advance " and they wouldent change the album titel at all! (That surely will confuse many Britney and Take That Fans)

Britney S. checked into a rehab Clinic and checked out again . She returned to Southern California – and she shaved her head completely bald.

The pop star visitet herself Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua "a couple days ago" but she left after just one day and headed to Florida.

TV's Extra reported that the singer had entered a treatment facility. And she checked out less than 24 hours later. Looked like she dident like the treatments that she had to go under .

Britney S. has been a nightlife pop princess fixture ever since divorce from her husband Kevin Federline in Oktober .

On Tuesday, her former personal assistant, Felicia C., wrote in a letter to a famous online magazine that Britney Spears's closest friends and family were trying to get her help, but were not having much luck to achieve what looked in there eyes would be best for her .

"There's just so much you can do to help a person if she is willing to collaborate ," Culotta wrote. "I cannot convince her in any way to love or to strength her self esteem . ... I cannot save her from herself, nor can I commit her to any type of treatment program against her will. I am realizing that I am helpless over another."

That was not the first sign that those around her were concerned. In February, her manager realized that her behavior had been harming her image. "She understands what's going on right now, and she calls it her 'rocky moment,' " he said. "Britney knows exactly what she needs to do mostly"

Britney Spears herself later annouced in a letter to fans , "If I were you I'd be unhappy too if I had to read what I've been reading every day in the media / magazines . But trust me, I get over it. I feel like a tiger in a Cage everyone is watching my moves . I know I've been far from perfect and the media has had a lot of fun observing my every move."

About the song Womanizer

The song was recorded for her sixth studio album, Circus, and was released as the first single on September 26, 2008. The track became a commercial success, topping charts in several countries. "Womanizer" was produced and co-written by Nikesha Briscoe and Rafael Akinyemi of Atlanta-based production team, The Outsyders. "Womanizer" is Spears's first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 since her debut "...Baby One More Time", almost 10 years prior.

Announced as the lead single from the album, "Womanizer" was first released to radio stations worldwide on September 26, 2008. It was released commercially in the United States on October 7, 2008 through digital distribution. It was released as a CD single on October 25, 2008 in Australia; November 14, 2008 in Germany; and on November 24, 2008 in the UK.

On October 15, 2008, the song made a record jump from ninety-six to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record set by T.I.'s "Live Your Life", which had jumped from number eighty to number one the week before, a record later broken by Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You". It also garnered first-week download sales of 286,000, the biggest opening-week tally by a female artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking digital downloads in 2003, topping Mariah Carey's take for "Touch My Body" by just over 200 units. During a live interview with New York's Z100, Spears talked about the song quoting: "It's basically saying, 'We know what you're up to.' It's about guys cheating on girls... it's a girl anthem. That's why I like it."

The stage premiere of "Womanizer" took place in Europe. Spears performed the song at the Bambi awards in Germany on November 27. She was also presented with a Bambi for "Best Pop International Artist" by Karl Lagerfeld. On November 28, "Womanizer" was performed live on French show Star Academy; and on November 29, Spears performed "Womanizer" live on UK talent show, The X Factor. Her performance on The X Factor was watched by 12.8 million UK citizens, becoming the most viewed episode in the show's history.



A commercial to promote the character "Chuck Bass" from Gossip Girl that featured "Womanizer" was first shown on The CW's channel and was later available on Spears's official website.
